7-ELEVEN, SPEEDWAY AND STRIPES STORES RAISE MORE THAN $19 MILLION FOR CHILDREN’S MIRACLE NETWORK HOSPITALS IN 2022 

Funds Raised Will Help Advance Pediatric Healthcare for Member Children’s Hospitals Across the Local Communities the Retailer Serves 

SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH (Jan. 31, 2023) — Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals® (CMN Hospitals) is pleased to share that 7-Eleven, Inc. raised more than $19 million in 2022 to support local member children’s hospitals across the country. Thanks to the generosity of 7-Eleven, Speedway, and Stripes stores customers, employees, vendors and Franchisees, funds raised will help advance pediatric healthcare by providing critical lifesaving equipment and much-needed resources to treat children throughout the local communities the retailer serves. 

Since 1991, Speedway – a part of the 7-Eleven family of brands – has partnered with CMN Hospitals to raise more than $170 million for local children’s hospitals. Now, in partnership with 7-Eleven, CMN Hospitals has the opportunity to dramatically expand its reach in raising funds to support even more children’s hospitals than ever before. 

“We’re thrilled to officially bring all of 7-Eleven into Speedway’s long-standing relationship with CMN Hospitals,” said Marissa Jarratt, Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer for 7-Eleven, Inc. “Supporting the local communities we serve has always been a part of our company’s DNA, so the addition of CMN Hospitals as a signature philanthropic outreach program for our organization is a natural fit. I could not be prouder of all we have accomplished in the past year.” 

A total of nearly $16 million in funds raised by 7-Eleven in 2022 were via a year-round in-store fundraising campaign at participating Speedway® stores, which was later expanded during the holiday season to include participating 7-Eleven® and Stripes® stores. This year’s Miracle Tournament and Celebration Dinner, held in Enon, Ohio, generated more than $3 million.

In 2023, 7-Eleven will continue to invite customers to give back to CMN Hospitals through the year-round in-store fundraising campaign, conducted in Speedway stores throughout the year and kicking off next month in 7-Eleven and Stripes stores.
