GIANT/MARTIN’S Customers Invited to Help Local Kids with “Candles for Kids” Campaign

SALT LAKE CITY (Nov. 18, 2016) — Beginning Sunday, Nov. 20, through Saturday, Dec. 3, holiday shoppers at GIANT Food Stores and MARTIN’S Food Markets will have the opportunity to support the local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital.

Customers will be invited to support the “Candles for Kids” campaign by purchasing a paper candle icon at checkout for $1 each. In return, each customer who donates will receive coupons for $2 off different Nabisco products each week.

Participating stores are located in the following markets: Baltimore, Maryland; Charlottesville, Virginia; Washington, D.C. and Philadelphia, Hershey and Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania.

Since 1996, GIANT/MARTIN’S has raised more than $40 million for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. Annual fundraisers include the Our Family Foundations weekend golf outing, Miracle Balloon icon campaign and Candles for Kids icon campaign.
