Show Your Support for #ChildrensHospitalsWeek via Miracle Child Bandage Campaign
Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals president and CEO, John Lauck, shares the message of #ChildrensHospitalsWeek in this short message to the community.
SALT LAKE CITY (March 16, 2017) – Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals invites support for children’s hospitals across the U.S. and Canada by encouraging participation in the #ChildrensHospitalsWeek bandage campaign.
The call-to-action is simple: Sport a bandage, write on it the name of a child who has benefited from a children’s hospital, take a photo and post to social media with #ChildrensHospitalsWeek.
Designated to shine a light on the great work taking place in children’s hospitals throughout the United States and Canada, #ChildrensHospitalsWeek focuses on the importance of funding these crucial centers of care for children of all ages and income levels. With monies raised staying local, member Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals treat 62 kids every minute.
Supporters are also encouraged to tune in on Friday, March 24, at 10 a.m. (EST) for the inaugural #ChildrensHospitalsWeek Facebook Live-athon hosted by Nick Cannon. The exciting, two-hour live event will feature appearances by Miss America 2017 Savvy Shields, legendary NFL quarterback Steve Young, singer Alli Simpson and a Miracle Child from every state and Canada, similar to CMN Hospitals’ trademark telethons. Catch the action at Facebook.com/CMNHospitals.
Additional announcements related to #ChildrensHospitalsWeek will be made in the upcoming weeks, so please refer back to the event page and the CMN Hospitals newsroom for additional updates.
