Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals Congratulates Aimee J. Daily, Ph.D., President and CEO on Being Named One of Utah Business’ 30 Women to Watch

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (June 14, 2024) – Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals is delighted to announce that its President and CEO, Aimee J. Daily, Ph.D., has been honored as one of Utah Business’ 30 Women to Watch for 2024. This prestigious recognition highlights Daily’s exemplary leadership, dedication, and impactful contributions to children’s health and the community.

The 30 Women to Watch award celebrates women who have made significant strides in their fields, demonstrating innovation, leadership, and a commitment to excellence. Daily’s inclusion in this distinguished group is a testament to her outstanding achievements and unwavering dedication to improving pediatric healthcare.

On May 30, 2024, Daily and her fellow honorees were celebrated at a luncheon held at The Grand America Hotel in Salt Lake City. The event featured a keynote address by Amanda Covington, Chief Corporate Affairs Officer at the Larry H. Miller Company. Daily was joined by several team members from Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, underscoring the support and pride felt by the entire organization.

“This year’s honorees are executives, scientists, artists, entrepreneurs, public servants and more. They come from a variety of industries, ethnicities and communities,” said Melanie Jones, Editor-in-Chief at Utah Business. “No matter your preferred flavor of inspiration, you will find it in at least one of these women—because everyone deserves a role model.”

Daily joined Utah-based Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals as president and CEO on November 1, 2023. Her first months have been a whirlwind of activity as she’s settled into Salt Lake City and embarked on a high-energy listening tour that has taken her across the country, meeting with team members of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and with key business partners who support the organization’s vision: change kids’ health to change the future.

Prior to joining Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, Daily served as senior vice president and chief transformation officer at Memorial Health, a nonprofit healthcare organization in central Illinois. There, she worked for 23 years, helping the organization fulfill its mission and achieve its vision. Her work led to multiple awards for Memorial Health, including Best Organization in Leadership Development and the Learning Elite Gold Award.

Reflecting on this honor, Daily said, “These individuals are the driving force shaping the future of business here, and I’m deeply honored to be recognized among such an inspiring group of women. This recognition underscores the incredible work being done at Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and so many other companies across the beautiful state of Utah.”

Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals was founded more than 40 years ago with the vision to Change Kids’ Health, Change the Future. We’ve raised over $9 billion for 170 children’s hospitals by empowering and engaging with local communities and businesses – and we’re not done yet. All donations benefit local member hospitals to fund what’s needed most, like critical life-saving treatments and healthcare services, innovative research, vital pediatric medical equipment, child life services that put kids’ and families’ minds at ease during difficult hospital stays, and financial assistance for families who could not otherwise afford these health services.
