Anthony Fontana of Costco Appointed to CMN Hospitals Board of Governors

SALT LAKE CITY (March 16, 2017) — Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, a charity raising funds and awareness for 170 children’s hospitals across North America, recently named Anthony Fontana of Costco to its Board of Governors.

Fontana is a vice president and regional manager for Costco Wholesale. He oversees many of Costco’s buildings in the Northeast region. Costco Wholesale, headquartered in Issaquah, WA (US) and Ottawa, ON (Canada), has raised more than $240 million for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals since 1988 and raised more than $27 million in 2016 alone.

“It’s an honor to serve on the Board of Governors for an organization that has such an impact in so many communities,” said Fontana. “Kids across North America need our help. I’ve seen firsthand how companies can work miracles when they get behind an organization like Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.”

In his new role, Fontana will join the rest of the Board to help support the fundraising, development and awareness functions of CMN Hospitals, promote the cause of children’s hospitals throughout the business community and help attract companies to support the organization’s mission of saving and improving kids’ lives.
